ÂWhat do I need to do to hire from DH Plant? It is really simple, you can either phone or email us to reserve the equipment you require. You will need two forms of recent identification such as a driving license or passport and utility bill and the required deposit.Â
How much to hire Plant machinery? Prices depend on hire duration required, fill in a quote request form below, or call us.
What are your hire terms? Please see our hire terms below.
Where do you deliver to and collect from? We offer a delivery and collection service to local areas such as Doncaster, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Newark, Sleaford, Grimsby, also see our map lower down on this page, if you are outside this area please call or email for a quote.
Can I pay for my hire tools by credit or debit card? Yes, we accept both credit and debit cards along with BACS payments.
Do you charge VAT? Yes all our prices include VAT.
What if I only need the tool for a few hours? This is fine, we can deliver and collect on the same day if needs be and we have competitive daily hire rates.
Do you hire plant with an operator? No, all our machines are easy to operate, but we can provide you with instructions how to use the machine, and the delivery driver will show you how to use it upon delivery. There are also lots of videos on YouTube to help.
Do your machines come with fuel? Yes all our machines come fully fuelled, we require them to be returned fully fuelled or you will incur an extra cost for us to refill them.
Is there an extra cost for fuel? There will be a charge incurred if machines are returned not fully fuelled, which would be charged at the standard rate.
What happens if there is a problem with a machine I have on hire? Please contact us on 01724 781647, select option 2, for advice. If you are calling out of office hours your call will be diverted to our out of hours maintenance team. We will aim to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.
What happens if a machine I’ve hired stops working out of hours? Contact us as soon as possible on 01724 781647, select option 2, and we will advise or replace the item for you as soon as we can. If for any reason you cannot get hold of the maintenance team please email us, if you fail to contact us you may still be charged for the hire time.
What if I need the equipment for longer than I thought? Please contact us as soon as you can to see if the machine is available for the period to be extended.
Do you offer business accounts and if so how long do I need to have been trading to apply? We are happy to take account applications from all businesses whether you are a start up or have been trading for years. To apply you simply need to have a credit checkable history, provide recent utility bills and bank statements; in addition to leaving a holding deposit.
